If you are following the same recipe and the cake is now more dense than before, the culprit is most probably baking powder. Even if the baking powder is within the expiry period, its a good idea to change the pack every 6 months to prevent it from making the cake dense.
I bake eggless cakes..but lately..even while following a recipe,my cake turns out to be tight..not soft and fluffy..what am I missing..pl suggest.
