Smoothie, especially smoothie bowls are my son’s favorite. This was and still is, his most preferred dinner. I make it for breakfast too at times and this click is from one of those times.

Half of his lunch box is filled with fruits, so we are always stocked up on fruits. And so making smoothie bowls is a pretty regular thing at our place.

There is not much of a measurement when making smoothie bowl. For most part I just add whatever fruits I have along with some bananas and honey. I like to add yogurt over milk for thickness. I also like to add a spoon of peanut butter or a handful of oats or cereal to the smoothie bowl for a variation. But the one here is just fruits and yogurt and honey as a sweetener.

Read on for the recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup Mixed berries
  • 1 banana
  • 2-3 tbsp yogurt, plain or flavored
  • Honey as needed
  • Fruits for topping

Method:

  1. Blend the berries and banana together. Add the yogurt and honey as needed.
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with more fruits and serve!
